One of the major challenges with creating your own football ratings is the vast amount of data and time required to cover a meaningful number of leagues.

If you're using a manual system, the process is tedious: first, you have to build your spreadsheet, then regularly import updated stats and league tables. Once that's done, you have to rate each team, compare them against others, and run multiple calculations to produce your final projections. It's a huge time sink!

When I first started, I used to do this all by hand. On a good day, I could rate and project for a weekend's football across 16-17 leagues in about two hours. While it was doable, it required me to be consistently available, and for accurate results, frequent updates were necessary.

But as my trading commitments increased, and with everyday responsibilities like family and bills, I simply didn't have the time. That's when I knew it was time to automate the entire process.

Previously, this product was available as a stand-alone application, accessed remotely via API. However, I've now integrated the Football Projector directly into the website.
